I wanted to take the time to write as I sit here at my computer, marketing for my three newest listings which came on the market today. I really feel that it is important to let everyone know how many hours I put into this business that I love so very much (as it is 5am). Over the years I have found it difficult the way that people treat realtors. I think because the majority of the public goes to work and is paid hourly or paid through a salary that it is easy to forget that real estate agents are not. No one is paying me to sit at my desk and work late into the evenings or miss birthday parties or other functions because someone has to see a property right now and can not wait. I have been at the Muny watching a performance and been called over and over just to be asked if a contract was accepted when the response time was not until the next day and the client knew that. Whenever I list a home or take a person out to buy property, it is important to know that I am invested right there with you. My team and I will do everything possible to sell your home and often times we go above and beyond what any other realtor will do as far as our time put into it and our dedication. But please be respectful of your realtor, because we are here working hard for you and we are people too. Don't call ten realtors to see property or call the listing agent to show you property but then go back with another agent and write an offer. These things are just plain wrong, they are disrespectful. Have loyalty and respect for your agent and they will have the same for you and probably work three times harder out of appreaciation.
